… It has been suggested that there be meetups where only acoustics are allowed, due to the fact they get drowned out by the electrics. I can understand that, and I think it’s a good idea. Whoever steps forward  to lead any of these sessions is welcome to set their guidelines in this regard. They can set the maximum number of attendees as well. As for a place to meet, I think the Blue Diamond on 20th  / Sandy would continue to allow acoustic only meetups … from 5-7 pm on Saturday. I am not sure abo …

Come meet-up, and jam with your guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, sax, ukelele, and/or voice. All levels of playing ability are welcomed. A basic understanding of the 8 bar or 12 bar blues is all that's required.

It's fun to get together with a bunch of people and play some fun and lively music. This is a call to pickers of all styles and skill levels to get together and play some good ol' down home bluegrass. So rab your guitar/banjo/fiddle/mandolin/bass/washboard or whatever instrument you enjoy playing or want to learn, dust off the old songbook or be ready to learn some new songs, and get ready to have some fun with great people.
