This is a group of musicians, singers, songwriters that get together in a variety of settings to jam acoustic, electric, write music, exchange ideas, learn from one another and just have fun. All levels welcome.

Get together with other like-minded musicians, any level. Meet and perform together on all types of acoustic music; roots, traditional, folk, bluegrass, old-timey, Americana, whatever songs the group brings for the night. Mostly, its to have fun and play in a relaxed atmosphere.

Looking for other guitarists to jam on anything Dead. Love the old -timey acoustic stuff of Garcia and Grisman, but open to play any Dead tunes. We could do Dylan, Beatles, Neil Young, blues, bluegrass, folk, etc as well. Didn't see many Jam Band meetups for guitarists, so thought this might be a good start. Just looking to have soem fun. The oldtime slow jam will take place every second and fourth Sunday @ Brooklyn Rod & Gun Club. A group to come together and "jam" on the Ukulele (all ages, skills and Ukulele sizes welcome). No particular level of experience is needed, just play the notes and chords that you can manage. The Ukulele is a great instrument for beginners and experienced players alike. (Many times easer to learn to strum than the the guitar) Within a few minutes you can learn a few songs. And playing with a group will push you to learn more, while meeting new friends.
