This group was started to provide a place for acoustic instrument musicians of all playing levels to meet, jam, collaborate and have fun playing with others. The hope is to have a convenient location and time for regular biweekly jams. Another goal is to find a venue to host a regular open-mic.

The Princeton Folk Music Society has encouraged the growth of folk music in central New Jersey for 40 years.
