I am living my dream and opening a guitar shop April 15th in Rosemount. I will have a stage set up with a P.A. for acoustic jams on Fri. and Sat. Nights. Start times to be determined, end times when the fingers and voices get tired! Hope to get singers and players of all ages to come enjoy some local music! This is a group for acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Dobro, Violin, Harps, Percussion, Bass, Lead Guitar (and the like) players and music lovers to come together to have a good time. The music styles will very from Jam to Jam from covers to originals. Jam cords are kept simple (3-5 cords) for others to follow and chime in. Callin' all bluegrass jammers to pick every 2nd & 4th friday night at the Lake Harriet House of Music. This is an open jam for all accoustic instruments and singers. We play in the tradition of Bill Monroe with a little bit of Irish and contemporary music too. We welcome fiddle players, mandoline players, Bass fiddle and guitar flat pickers. Fun is important here.
