Formerly known as GOAL - Guitar Ottawa Acoustic Lovers. MOJO is designed for individuals who share and interest in playing music. This includes any style of acoustic instrument (guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, ukulele, bass, etc...) and a basic fundamental knowledge of chords (A, C, D, E, G, etc ). Our objective is to create an environment where people can jam in a relaxed way. Participants have varied skill levels and we typically play a mix of music that allows less skilled people …

This group is for people of any skill level who want to get together to jam, in a relaxed, no pressure environment. Youngish people (between the ages of 20-40ish) who play guitar, bass, drums, or whatever are welcome to hang out, make music and have a great time!

I am a mandolin player who has only been playing since 2004, but after playing a few times with other musicians and really enjoying it, I would love to be able to do it on a more regular basis. Looking for amateur musicians who love Celtic music and wish to get together and play. The goal is to have fun and share a love for Celtic music (Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Cape Breton, Quebec reels, etc.)
