I can't begin to state how excited I am to be an organizer and how appreciative I am of all who join this group. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.

The purpose of this group is simple, giving musicians a common ground to meet, get info on events, share ideas, and ask or answer any questions someone might have. My purpose for starting this site is to band musicians together. If local Houston musicians can come together and become a united front, the Houston music scene will become more vibrant. There is a ton of talent in this city that never gets any recognition, and hopefully we can change that.

I encourage promoting your band, or your friends band, regardless if they are a member on this site. DO NOT EMAIL MEMBERS TO ADVERTISE . Post it. Leave a Link.

Rules for this group are pretty simple.

Be respectful of others. Don't just come out and blast someone. If you have something to say, make it a point to be constructive.


DO NOT EMAIL MEMBERS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL SOMETHING. If its something music related and you know of a place that has good deals, post it and leave a link. Musicians are always needing gear, especially good cheap gear. Give people the option of looking at it. Emailing members to sell items will result in immediate removal. No second chances.

Don't blast local businesses. Now I understand informing others on this site if, for example, you play a gig for a specific agreed amount, say $200.00, and at the end of the night they only pay $75.00. That needs to be known. Now don't blast the place if Susey H behind the counter is rude to you. Keep in mind, maybe she just doesn't like you and got tired of you hitting on her all night. It happens.

Watch the language. No F bombs.

Other than that we will play it by ear.

Just remember we are here for each other and everyone needs help at some point in time. Lets have fun and make this the beginning of the Golden Age for Houston music.
