Come enjoy a day of blue skies, good food and music and lots of arts and crafts booths. The festival starts at 11 am and ends around 9 PM. I am going to get to Pace University Parking Lot #2 at 2 PM where I will meet people from this meetup and two others. If you want to arrive earlier or later, let me know in your comments and I will look for you at the festival. It may be adviseable to bring a blanket.

There will be numerous performers playing music throughout the day. The two big acts are Graham Parker(famous for his CD Squeezing Out Sparks and his big hits Local Girls and Heat Treatment) and Joan Osbourne who has had several big solo CD's and has performed with Phil Lesh and Friend. Based on my conversation withe organizer of this event, Graham Parker is expected to go on stage around 5 and Joan Osbourne will close out the event at 7-7:30.

Tickets are $30 and if order them on line, they will be mailed to you up until a week before the festival. If you drive, it is recommended that you park at Pace University because there is a farmers market at the train station during the summers and you can not park there from 9 until 2. There will be shuttle busses taking you from Pace to the location of Parkway Field by Wheeler Avenue whch is in the vicinity of Pizza Hut and Paulies. Busses will be running every half hour. The area by the festival is expected to be crowded, therefore the parking arrangements are in effect.

If you are comming from New York City or a train statation on the Harlem Line, feel free to take the Metro North to Pleasantville Station and take a shuttle bus or even walk to the event.

Here's a great idea: Leave your car behind and take public transportation! Our annual festival, as well as all the local stores and restaurants, is within a few blocks of the Pleasantville MetroNorth train station!

The festival is also only blocks from the number 6, 15, and 19 Bee-Line bus stops! For Westchester County Bee-Line Bus Information, click here
